Sweetheart is doing well this morning. She ate well and Dr. Kolar will probably do a bandage change on her leg sometime today.
I will be going to visit her after work today and will see how the leg is progressing.
I will try and get some pictures!

Sunday - New video taken Saturday
No Sweetheart update today but a new video that is adorable. Thanks to Les for getting it on the blog! Dr. Kolar's is closed and I figured I wouldn't call him and bother him today. Sweetheart was doing greyt yesterday and he would have called me if there had been a problem. Enjoy the video below and meet the greys that Sweetheart will be living with when she comes home next Saturday!
Below are some pictures of my personal dogs and my current fosters.
I will be going to see Sweetheart tomorrow after work. I will give you guys an update tomorrow evening (unless I break down and call Kolar's tomorrow to see how she is). Hope everyone had a nice weekend.
Below are some pictures of my personal dogs and my current fosters.
Lucy - She is one of the most beautiful greyhounds I have ever fostered. She just had a broken back toe amputated and we are waiting on the biopsy results to make sure she doesn't have cancer.
Journey sleeping. She hooks her leg over her ear every night. It is absolutely adorable to see in person.
Jackie - I have fostered this sweet girl for a total of over 18 months. She is a little shy out in public but so silly and loving at home.
Jackie on her 'couch of courage'
Bavarian, my very first greyhound. He is now 12 and was what made me fall in love with greys and what led me to start Fasthound with Paul.
Monte our second failure at fostering. He is 9 and a half years old and is a such a happy boy.
Cleo, our first failure fostering. She is 7 years old and has more energy than a puppy. In this picture she is sleeping with her little tongue peeking out of her mouth.
Monte and Bavarian sleeping on their air bed.

Afternoon update - 8/21
Not a whole lot new news to tell. She is doing fine and eating good. She ate treats and then immediately found the soft pillow under Lynn's desk and made herself at home. We took her outside and walked her around for a few minutes. She did get some topical flea and tick treatment today, it isn't too strong for her. He has been waiting to give it to her until she was stable and strong enough for it..
Below are lots more pictures that Les took today. I hope you enjoy the video. It takes a few seconds until she comes into view so be patient.

Evening update - Photos you say?
So I am getting the idea you all want to see more photos. :) This update is going to be short and...Sweetheart because I am sure you are tired of hearing me ramble on and are saying to yourself "show us pictures please"! I am going to load this evening's blog up with photos per the countless requests I have been getting. :) But you gotta read a little further first. You must work for your Sweetheart pictures. :)
Sweetheart once again came trotting out of her crate like a pro. She let me pet her for a little bit then was off to explore and greet a couple of kids that came in. After that, she decided to make herself at home on a dog bed underneath the front counter. Below are pictures of her on that bed. Scroll down to see her being adorable (and stubborn, kept turning her head EVERY time I would take a picture) on the bed.
Will go see her tomorrow. Les will go with me most likely and he will try to get a longer video. We may put it on the blog and YouTube if it turns out good. And now....drumroll please.... I give you....... Sweetheart!

OK, admit it, you said or thought "AWWW" when you saw this!
The red in her eye was caused by the flash, no worries, her eyes are fine and beautiful
Can there be anything more beautiful?
OK, so it looks just like the one above it but hey, you guys said you wanted pics!
Thirsty after visiting everyone
Yes it is me holding her down again to try and get a picture. 2 year olds are stubborn
Can I get another "AWWWW" out there? :)
Yes I AM adorable, was there every any thought that I wasn't?
