Evening update - October 28th

I am so sorry it has taken me this long to do a new post.

Sweetheart had a bandage change yesterday (10/27).  She weighs 52.6 pounds (holding steady) and her leg is still healing.  The spot left to heal is about the size of a nickel.  The pictures below are from yesterday's bandage change.

Tomorrow evening is Sweetheart's public debut.  We will be at Mann's Best Friend off Pennsylvania Avenue in south Oklahoma City from 7-9 in the evening.  Per the blog's poll, 12 of you are planning to stop by and meet her.  I can't wait to meet everyone and I know she will love seeing every one of you.

    Can't wait to meet Sweetheart tonight. I've had a bucket I decorated for Sweetheart at my office collecting change for a while and I'm happy to say I'll be bringing her $100. I originally intended to bring the bucket with all the change, but it got extremely heavy and didn't want you to have to deal with that and having to get it exchanged, so Sweetheart will get a very light weight $100 bill!

    I surely would like to be at her Puplic Debut. It's 3000 Miles I would have to travel. So I will be looking forward to Pictures from that Event.

    I almost wonder if that last little bit o' wound wouldn't heal up faster if you just let the air get to it [though you run the risk of her licking]. Just seems like she's at the point where a jumbo scab needs to form? Or is that what that silver wrap does?
