Called Dr. Kolar's and Sweetheart was in her dog run while her crate was being cleaned. Lynn said when she went out to see her Sweetheart was laying down. When Sweetheart saw Lynn she immediately jumped up and was furiously wagging her tail and walking back and forth in the run!
We have three Fasthound volunteers going to see her this afternoon and I will be going today after work. The blog will be updated this evening with more pictures and a progress report.
If there are any questions you guys want me to ask Dr. Kolar regarding her health and recovery, post them in your comments. I want everyone to feel involved and if you are wondering anything, feel free to ask. If I don't know I will try and find out!

Nothing amazes me more than the resiliency of these dogs. Look what has been done to this poor girl. Yet she still loves us humans. Looking forward to more updates!

ReplyDeleteI am one of the 3 volunteers who went to visit Sweetheart today. She is one special girl!!! We took a stroll outside & she was nosing around for anything eatable (or not). Found an uneatable, I took this out of her mouth & she didn't care, she did go after it again. So sweet & definetly has her mind made up as to where she wants to go. She is walking fine, no moticeable limp either. She is a true SWEET HEART
