Morning update on Sweetheart (08/17) Paypal now on the Fasthound Website

Wow, we are up to 43 followers on the blog!  Thanks everyone for getting the word out and following our sweet girl's fight for life.

I talked to Kolar's office this morning at 8:30.  She was eating good this morning.  They have switched her to the smaller size kibble as she prefers that over the larger size (lady's do have the right to be picky lol).  Again, I am so thankful she made it to another day.  Night's are so hard for me as I sit at home and just think of her and just will her to live.

We now have our paypal donate button up and running.  Go to http://www.fasthound.org/.  Underneath the picture of Sweetheart on the front page of the site you will see a link that says:  Click here to make a donation using Paypal.  Click on this link and it will take you to a new page with a small paypal donate button on it.  Simply click that button and start the donation process.

Paul and I have already been contacted by several people who have mailed donations or who wish to donate.  Now with paypal up and running it is easier than ever to do so.  We still are happy to receive checks in the mail or directly to the Prague Veterinary Clinic.

Hope you all have a good day.  I will be making my trek to see her this afternoon and will give you guys an update this evening.  Do you guys want to see more 'recovery' pictures of her tonight?  If you do, post a comment and let me know.  We have more pretty pictures of her for you guys to see.  :)

  7. This is truly a remarkable story. Sweetheart is a beautiful girl, and her rescuers are heros. This is proof positive that all creatures have meaning. Her story will touch so many so much, and she has touched the hearts of everyone in my office and family to the point that we check on her several times throughout the day. Keep up the sharing of her story and the more photos the better. We love to see her progress and to simply know she is safe and receiving the care she deserves is such a relief to us all. When we first became aware of her situation, we were all just stunned. To see her before photos and her now photos is truly amazing. Her heroes all became her angels the day they gathered around her, and spread their wings over her devastated body and carried her to safety and a future. Thank you to each one of you.

  10. This story fills me shock at how the couple could drive away and leave her chained up to be eaten alive.
God bless the relative who called round and every body who is part of Sweethearts recovery.

  18. We definitely want to see wonderful pictures of her recovery. It will be as remarkable as Sonia's Bones' recovery was this summer. It's wonderful when you get a fighter that takes on the challenge to heal themselves as much as the effort you are putting for for them as well. Best of luck Beautiful Sweetheart!
