Sweetheart Update
8:30 a.m.: Talked to Dr. Kolar this morning. Sweetheart is doing good. Eating and drinking well. Going to the bathroom well. She is holding her own and just making progress at a great pace for the condition she was found in. I will be visiting her this afternoon about 4:30. I will take pictures of her and will post them this evening. I am hoping that since she has done well these last few days she is out of immediate danger of dying but I am trying not to get my hopes up too much yet (even though I have of course). Check back after 6 p.m. this evening for pictures of the little doll. :)

Just found your blog and can't believe what I'm seeing. Thank goodness for people like you. I do reiki healing for animals and will keep sending some for Sweetheart for as long as she needs it.
ReplyDeleteI am anxious to see the new pictures. This baby has just captured my heart. She has such a strong will to live and get better, and the fact that she still trusts people after all she's been though. I would just love to give her a hug and kiss.
ReplyDeleteRobin: I will be getting pictures of her this afternoon. My husband and I are going to Dr. Kolar's to give her some love and get some pictures to post. I know you guys want to see her progress and I want to share it. I am going to try and get a weight on her to see if she has gained anything since Friday. She was 31.4 pounds when she was weighed Friday.
